Happy New Year

On Tuesday 3rd of January, the first training session for the newly formed Aquatics club in Carlisle will take place. Details of times and squads have been sent out to everyone involved. 

The website for Carlisle Aquatics will be the new place to visit for swimming & water polo information.

You should all have received an email regarding Carlisle Aquatics membership for 2012. More details can be found at 
Carlisle Aquatics Website where you can get in touch if you have any questions.
Please try and return the Membership & Health Questionnaire before the xmas break. Further details will be emailed out regarding start dates for 2012.

Carlisle Aquatics Meeting

As you are all aware the swimming clubs in Carlisle have been working towards becoming one club for quite a while now. It has now got to the stage where the respective committees of all 3 clubs, Masters CoC & CWP, have come to an agreement and would like for everyone involved to attend a meeting to hear the proposals on offer.
The meeting will take place on Wednesday 30th November, in the theatre of the Richard Rose Morton Academy at 7pm
To allow everyone the opportunity to attend, both the CWP swimming sessions at the pools on that Wednesday evening have been cancelled. The committee of CWP would urge all members to attend, as there will be a presentation outlining plans, timetables, squad systems, fees etc. for the new Carlisle Aquatics (CA) club. The CA steering group will endeavour to explain all aspects of the proposal so that you will all agree to be part of the new club starting in January 2012. 
Seating capacity is limited to around 150, but Car Parking is even less. Please try and car share if possible.

Carlisle Sports Awards Winners

Congratulations to Kathryn, Tom, Andy & Sam who were short listed and winners at the 2011 event. The sporting event took place at the Sands Centre and celebrated the outstanding talent, commitment and success of Carlisle sports people.

JUNIOR PERSONALITY OF THE YEAR - Exceptional rising star - Awarded to the person demonstrating the highest acheivement in their sport. WINNER - KATHRYN ROUTLEDGE

RISING STAR - Awarded to 3 talented athletes who have demonstarted their potential through achievements during the last year. WINNER - TOM GRIEVE

COACH OF THE YEAR - Delivering exceptional impact - Awarded to the coach that can demonstate significant impact upon participants at any level during the last year. WINNER - ANDY LITTLE
